Three hands remaining in a live session that has run nine hours so far. Currently up ~$1200, $1700 in front of me, ready to go home and have a beer and celebrate having had a decent session

New player raises to 20, we reraise to 80 with two red aces, he calls (we are the only two playing deep, we have $1100 effective stack sizes, no one else has more than $400

TL;DR, he make an ace high flush in a 3bet pot on an unpaired board, and lose to a one combo, two card straight flush for all the marbles. Worst part is I probably should have bet/folded the river but I called and lit $500 more on fire.

Ash goes home five minutes later having turned his hourly from ~$200 an hour to $12 in the space of one hand.

Just won a 90 man $5 progressive KO tourney

Got to the FT with zero knockouts! But didn't lose a showdown until heads up (i had a 3-1 chip lead and raised on the button with K6, he shoved and i called, he had AQ and i couldn't hit) And didn't lose one after that either 13/14 showdowns won

Won $115 all up

Final hand i got it in with a 3-1 chip lead. I had 33 and he had A4

Bang bang. Good to find some form again (although i played quite well on Saturday night, made it deepish in the $1.10 1.5K guaranteed) But it was nice to shove with some medium pairs and flop some sets in races
