Share your memories, photos, videos of players who have worn the #21 Guernsey for the Carlton Football Club

Can't remember his name but he played 1 or 2 games in the #21 jumper.

He was a crow eater, had long flowing golden locks and could run all day. Was a pretty handy cricket player as well.

Craig ....something????

The guy on the locker before Braddles was a reasonable sort of player as well... 220 games, 1 premiership... should have played in 2 more but missed because of injuries sustained just before the grand finals of those years. He was one of only two defenders to ever keep Peter Hudson goalless in a match.

He helped HBF become an anorak by helping Kevin Sheehan set up the TAC cup and the draft camps in the 90s.

And Miss Aph... how could you just dismiss Curly like that.

I know Dram shame on me.

How could I forget Rod 'Curly' Austin

Craig Bradley easily although Curly Austin got some tough match ups and was a great contributor also.

I will never forget some of his goals and the way he could hit Kernahan up from 60 metres away.

4 bounces around the boundary goal vs Collingwood in 1986 I think it was was a memorable for me as a youngster, walked out of the MCG that day with my family to discover that our car had been stolen, had to be a Pie supporter who had left early....

Also loved his running banana kick goal at PP vs the Eagles.

And will never forget the steely eyes and look of determination he had on his face after he kicked the opener of the 95 grand final.:thumbsu:

Braddles followed by Curly. Often towelled Lethel Leigh. Kicked like a camel on skates.
Austin did not have a copybook style of kicking but was very effective, hard to describe but I think you have nailed it there Thy :thumbsu::D

Lethal tried one of his sniper acts on Curly in the 81 second semi against the Dawks... Curly went straight back out there and fronted him as if to say "is that the best you got a-hole!"

Pity he hurt himself during the week after that game.
