Also interesting that the tribunal rejected Essendon's argument they used thymosin alpha (I assume they mean thymomodulin)
So Essendon are NOT GUILTY of using Thymosin Alpha?

LanceUppercut and ManWithNoName is it OK to say that? Will rephrase at your demand.

Essendon's expulsion from the 2013 finals series needs an urgent review.
So that exclusion was for the taking of the syringe activity? Not governance?

In the judgment that was released only to the parties, the tribunal chaired by David Jones said there had been a "deplorable absence of records in the program relating to its administration".

According to the learned panel, EFC did not take TB4. If they did, a guilty verdict would have been reached. That is all you need to be concerned about.

They didn't say they didn't take it.

They said there wasn't enough evidence to prove they did.

Even the biggest scarf waving malcontent would know that today's decision does not prove they didn't take TB4.

Still, 2 years on, no one knows what was injected into the players.

And we're celebrating this??

Apparently asking about the identity of the substances used on the totally innocent and not at all guilty in any way players is being:

Can you see that the point of contention is that for all we know the evidence was a hair's breadth from required proof but the players were - correctly - given the benefit of the doubt?

Sorry boss but your offended is plainly visible tonight.

Hearing Ben McDevitt's sooky la la statement really was the icing on the cake.

Better luck next time Benjamin.

Understand your POV. But I'm also an investigator for govt - different area. It is hard, takes a long time, sometimes can be under-resourced and you don't always win. Not having a go - promise.

ASADA had laws passed for the express purpose of hauling Dank in, and didn't bother to use them. They're on record as saying they would appeal if the tribunal verdict went against them. I'll concede this much to Essendon supporters - if they fail to follow through, they were indeed bluffing.

Get lost pal- they were comfortably satisfied that the illegal substance was not administered to EFC players. Not guilty.

This is not necessarily correct.

You may be right - or you may not.

It could be that the tribunal does not believe any EFC players were injected with TB4.

If this is the case the players may want the evidence made public.

It may also be true that the tribunal believes some players were injected with TB4 - but ASADA could not "comfortably" prove which ones.

If this is true? Then the players will not want any evidence made public.

It is so important to have all evidence/information made public.

There has been so much suppression of information in this whole saga that non EFC supporters are sure EFC is as guilty as sin - and has something to hide.

Turn a bright light on all the evidence and other supporters will share your conviction that EFC players are indeed innocent - until then most will think subterfuge/"AFL fix" has won the day.

Why anyone could have a problem with this is beyond me - if there is nothing to hide? - then don't hide anything.

Get a life- EFC are not celebrating. The point is EFC players were found not guilty of taking one banned substance-TB4 by a totally independent panel who were hit by 4 weeks of ASADA incompetence. Thankfully they were learned enough to determine their was no case. Now carry on and accept it.
