True. But so was Geelong v Adelaide in Round 1 and that was Crows in white shorts.
Hopefully the AFL is just using their brains

Oh no. I'm not saying ch7 have a catch-all rule where dark teams wear dark shorts, I'm saying they dictate the jumper match ups for the games they show.

Doubt it would be a TV thing.

Plenty of FTA games last year where Geelong or North hosted a dark team and wore blue shorts while the away side wore white shorts. Essendon and Carlton come to mind
