Toast Seedsman's ANZAC Day Medal

Great game from the seed. Needs to learn to lower his eyes a bit more though. There were three or four times that he gained 50m with a kick which went to nobody when there were options 30m away.

Great to see him win the medal, especially with his families heritage going way back with Collingwood.
This medal will mean the world to him.
I wonder if the other coaches will take notice of his performance today, and send a stopper to him.
It will be interesting to see how he goes with more attention paid to him.
If they do, it will just mean that they will be down another attacking player and will free up one of our other boys.

A well deserved winner, it's great to see the lesser lights in a team getting the recognition. He certainly played out of his skin, his best game to date and should do wonders for his confidence.
Anzac day is unique in that to play the game you must go really, really deep. Seedsman did this in spades and deserves our accolades now. Cheers to you Seedsman and may you go on and play again and again for the Collingwood that you obviously love!

He runs, he glides, he is the epitome of smooth...but he put his head down today and never stopped. Loved his game, all hail The Seed.
Well described! The Seed played his signature game today and he is welcome to continue this again and again.

Swanny's like a proud papa; (Pic taken as Seeds is annoucned as the winner of the medal);

Write up on Seeds on our site. Pendles says that if there was a quiz on anything Collingwood, the Seed would win.
Disappointing effort from Karnezis then. He should be giving the Seed a run for his money at least :p

Then again the Seed has family history on his side

There is a story that he freaked some of the players out when he first arrived with what he knew about their careers.
Cloke spoke about Seeds approaching him and asking what Cloke thought of his new boots. Cloke shrugged and said they're boots mate. Seeds said don't you remember wearing these in your 100th game- something like that anyway.

This would actually be unreal for the seed, its like one of us on bigfooty winning the Anzac day medal.

as a teen, he would have watched Pendles, Johnno, Shaw and Medhurst and others win the medal.

Now he has his own and hes down in the history books forever.

We probably need to remember he didn't play many pre-season games with his hip etc. He'll only improve in the next few weeks you'd think.
