Hey guys, I know its been a long time but couldn't help myself from coming back to post on this thread. Pretty stoked to win the flag here obviously but well done to Bradles for coming so close. Also well done to Lani for having such a good season, which probably deserved at least a GF...
Cheers mate, thanks for the feedback :thumbsu: However, as I said, I've been too busy to properly sort through everyone and decide who of the 'risks' will stay and who will be cut. A lot of that will ride on NAB Cup performances and other preseason form. I understand that my team is still very...
All very preliminary at this stage (haven't had that much of a chance to spend a lot of time on it yet). Still not 100% satisfied but would like some feedback from a few other people :thumbsu:
$123,500 in the bank too
Re: AFL Umpires Uniform Design
Yeah, done a bit of goal umpiring in my time and the caps work an absolute treat and serve their purpose well (to keep the sun out of the umpire's eyes). One of those other hats would be a nightmare to umpire in with todays standards. Caps also help to keep a...
Re: Local League Guernseys
Some local teams have shithouse jumpers :thumbsd: When I get the chance I'll see if I can get some up from my local league. Nothing much too interesting there though
Re: Gold Coast SUNSCREAMERS guernsey
Absolutely stoked with the final product, can't wait to get my hands on one :) Thanks a lot to SUNS for giving me the opportunity to turn one of my designs into an actual product too :thumbsu:
Just got my phone back then. Must've already been pretty faulty because they just replaced it with a new one for free :):thumbsu: Would recommend Crazy John's and HTC to anyone, brilliant to work with. Made a very stressful and costly situation very quick and easy
Re: Footy Graphic Design- Supercoach League
Nah just prefer to go by a pretty anonymous identity, that's all. My full surname is pretty long and unique so it'd be a fair giveaway who I am. Wouldn't really mind if anyone recognised me though, I dunno I guess this is just a pretty personal...
Re: Footy Jumpers Buy Swap Sell
Measure yourself using a tape measure or something. I know that over in the US they don't use the metric system but you could still use something on the internet or your phone or something to convert the measurements over. Otherwise you could always experiment...
You said that last time too...
Yeah ok fair enough, just assumed that because they wanted it stickied. Just warning people not to get too carried away (unless indeed they are Indigenous) as it is likely your submitted entry won't be included
Not relevant unless any of us are indigenous which is fair enough. All of us others would be hopeless anyway. The idea is to come up with a meaningful piece of Aboriginal art, you can't just 'design' that on a computer using shapes and curvy lines. It has to be part of your culture and something...
Wow, please never say that again. The Adelaide Oval is one of the most picturesque and historic stadiums in the world. Many Australian cricketers rate it as their favourite oval to play in. I dunno if you've ever been there but that 'incomplete space' is actually known as 'the hill' and is one...
Oh really? Fair enough then. I was only stirring s**t anyway :p I dedicate more focus to my SuperCoach anyway so it'll be interesting to see how I go. My half-hearted Dream Team did better than my Supercoach last year
Looks like we may as well change this comp to 'Design a Star Wars inspired football jumper' :p Was thinking of doing one of those myself as well before anyone else submitted
Re: www.footyjumpers.com Part 2
Hmmm... true actually but I still reckon it would reduce numbers a bit. Anyway it's Mero's site so he obviously makes the decision as to a) whether he definitely wants watermarks and b) what 'style' he uses
Re: www.footyjumpers.com Part 2
Yeah I guess but at the same time I couldn't see a lazy journalist cropping bits out of an image they're putting standalone in an article. At least if they did it would remind them to properly acknowledge Mero anyway. In general I think it would still work quite...
Could've had my P's last week and I've only just turned 17  Still got 20 hours and 3 lessons to go though :(
Surprisingly loving Year 12 at the moment too :) Mind you still haven't had a lesson of Chemistry, Physics or Maths yet :p Only Research Project, Tourism and frees today. Loving...
Actually a pretty big company at least in SA. I'm sure now that you know who they are you'll see them all over the place. Will definitely last out the whole three-year deal, unlike the past few.
Not really but anyway...
Doubtful. Keeping in mind that I finished in the top 1% last year I'd surely have to be the pre-season favourite with the punters :p
Re: www.footyjumpers.com Part 2
*guernsey
On the topic of watermarks, I really don't like any of them. However, I also totally understand where you're coming from which is fair enough. In today's day and age it probably does have to be done :thumbsd: I personally love what Costa does though...
Very much a prototype guys, don't be surprised to see a change in the final product. I don't mind it and I too like logos on the front of guernseys. Magpies one would be perfect but I'm sure Collingwood wouldn't approve :thumbsd:
This would be even better (minus the 140 years crap)
