    Preview R:8 - Swans v Giants - 1:45pm SCG - Saturday 4 May

That's the way I see it. We're definitely a better team with Parker in this week but not by enough to justify bringing him back before he's completely ready. It will be a very physical game.

    Preview R:8 - Swans v Giants - 1:45pm SCG - Saturday 4 May

Yeah. He's too good for Fox and while I'd back Cunningham against him in a wet game I'm not sure he can go with him in the air if it's dry.

I thought exactly the same thing. Couldn't imagine Horse doing the same to one of his players

    Player Watch #9 Will Hayward

I don't think there's many people suggesting he's a top 10 player at the club. How many has Fox had?

    Player Watch #9 Will Hayward

Amen brother. I don't think he's one of our top 10 players and probably closer to bottom 6 of the best 23 but he's everything you said and won't be easy to replace if he goes. Very solid role player and he'd be missed.

Preview AFL 2024 Round 8 - Swans v GWS Sat May 4th 1:45pm AEST (SCG)

Shame it won't be the fast, free flowing spectacle it should be because of the weather but a dour, physical slog will be fun to watch too.

Autopsy 76 point Team Effort win vs Hawthorn

Haven't been able to watch the replay yet but at the game there was an incident about 50 metres off the ball between Chol and Blakey. Did that get shown or mentioned on the TV coverage at all? Blakey was on the ground and it looked like Chol was hitting him. Most likely an open palm to the...

    Player Watch #27 Justin McInerney

Definitely. He's really added the physicality to his game this year. Also seems to have improved his fitness a little too and is involved for longer. At the ground yesterday I noticed so many times yesterday he presented as an option for the overlap completely unmarked by the opposition which...

    Preview R:8 - Swans v Giants - 1:45pm SCG - Saturday 4 May

We seem to have adapted a bit better to the conditions in our last few wet weather games. Prior to that it would kill us.

    Preview R:8 - Swans v Giants - 1:45pm SCG - Saturday 4 May

Why we would we want to sacrifice forward pressure against a defence like the giants?

    Player Watch #3 Taylor Adams

Really impressed with how he's slotting into the midfield. Watching him closely yesterday I don't think we have anyone as good at extracting the ball from the bottom of a pack as this guy. Goes at it like an animal when the ball is there to be won at ground level.

    Preview R:8 - Swans v Giants - 1:45pm SCG - Saturday 4 May

My guess is Campbell out, Fox sub. Would be great to see us go with just the 2 talls in the wet but I think the club are pretty set in their ways with our forward set up.

Autopsy 76 point Team Effort win vs Hawthorn

Yeah I thought he was great today. I think Campbell might be the unlucky one to make way for Parker with Fox sub.

Copped a very hard tag today from Maginness and still probably ends up with a couple of Brownlow votes for his 3 goals and 20 touches.

No, exactly the same entity. Completely different situation to the lions and port.

    Game Day 2024 Round 07 Hawks v Bloods @ MCG @ 4 PM

Grundy, Heeney, Chad and Errol to absolutely fire, Papley to kick 5 and Swans by 48. Really don't care too much how we get it done to be honest but absolutely must come away with the W

Infamous Chokes or Mishaps Forgotten Because the Team Still Ended Up Winning

2005 grand final... The swans are up by 2 points in the last quarter and Luke Ablett misplaces a kick across goal in defence. The kick goes straight to Ben Cousins who puts the eagles in front. That mistake nearly extended a 72 year premiership drought.

Who will be better in 2024? Sydney or GWS?

Yep. The comp is so close now that the MCG is a massive advantage for Vic teams on GF day. Interstate sides really need to hope they play another interstate side on grand final day.
