He's signing off with a premiership but Syd has decided to call time on his moderating duties.
So we'll need someone to replace him and join Grim and I in defending Tippett against humanity, playing parent to Vonn and Stat, tasing Bedford and general crime fighting duties.
So, if you're...
I have some spare time at the moment and Robbie asked me ages ago to give our rules thread a makeover.
So, it's your board, what rules do you want? Personally I don't want many rules specific for our board. I can just link the main board rules into the thread, that way there is less clutter in...

I would have loved for him to kick on but probably a smart career move to try and find more opportunities. Hopefully he does well and makes it as a player.

I thought we had a clear top 3 but throw a blanket over a fair few guys for the other votes.
Post pictures here. Including ones you've taken.
This reaction after this goal will be remembered forever. Get the bearded man.
Captains' reaction at the final siren. They were both outstanding and proved to be worthy captains over the last 4 weeks.
Only downside with this is...
Today was that game. I didn't realise he had completely torn his PCL (which makes the performance that much more special). He still had an impact during the 2nd and 3rd when he was forced to sit deep in the forward line. Then threw himself into the middle for the last and was crucial.
His goal...
Seeing the reaction surrounding these two getting AA selections makes me think that the old 'overrated' argument has gone too far. Yes, they were overrated in their early years, which was largely due to the media but this year they both had very good years. It's almost at the stage where they...
Getting this thread in earlier today since it's such a big game. Media attention has been good in Sydney this week, so hopefully the game delivers.
Key man to stop is Birchall imo. One break away from the defensive 50 and he could launch it deep in their attack. Has been on fire this year...

Really wanted to give Mattner votes as well. Great performance from most of the players.
Quick poll to see where we are at with this board and if it's worth keeping.
Or if anyone has any ideas on how to make it better.
If we don't want it then I'd move the contract status thread to this board because I think that's worth keeping.

This guy has surprised the hell out of me since returning from injury last year. Had major doubts he would make it but he has smashed that theory on the head. Good mark for his size, can go forward and kick goals, runs both ways, and has proved to be a player capable of changing games.
Would be...
Parker automatically wins YPOTY this week I think? Only player eligible. Doesn't matter anyway, no one will vote for anyone else.

Hawthorn v Sydney Swans at Aurora Stadium, 1.10pm
LATE CHANGES
Hawthorn: Grant Birchall replaced in selected side by Broc McCauley
FINAL INTERCHANGES
Hawthorn: Matthew Suckling, Shane Savage, Luke...
Seen this being debated again in a few threads recently, so may as well have a proper thread for it.
Roos has come out and said Goodes' best is the best he has seen. I'd agree with that, that's part of the reason why he is rated so highly, but Roos doesn't really answer the question properly...
