thats because ayres has signed on at deer park. the big backer from maribynong has taken his money to deer park and along with him goes ayres. could be a few more to go as well.

apparantly allan faraj is retiring and wont play out the 2011 season with airport west. will free up some cash for the eagles to chase some other players but it will make their job of making the finals even tougher. there is talk of him going back to where it all began to finish off at jacana.

i hear cohuna boys nathan zerafa and george bakoulos are both off to balranald this season. a frienfd of a friend knows the two of them well and said that they were looking to win a flag before hanging up the boots. big loss for cohuna. good gain for balranald (for the short term anyway).

Certainly has. But apparently has a soft spot for the jets and with the way they fell down up forward on the weekend it wouldn't surprise me if he landed back there.

Agree Heath Ayres is a gun but i would take Jorgenson hands down. Key position player so much more valuable. the things he does on a footy field are remarkable. if kade is at his best consistently i would take him next then heath ayres.

heath ayres is a good player, and yes he did win the best in the comp. but adam cooney won the brownlow last year and i would hands down take ablett/judd/franklin ahead of him. jorgonsen is a key position player and a much more valuable player and harder to replace player than ayres. so for me...

that is probably greenvale's best chance of wiining the flag this year if he does. his nose is big enough to use in the ruck contests, then he can use his fantastic fitness base to cover all the ground that he usually does. would love to see a randello v brodie holland match up...2 real big...

that is a big loss given the other blokes they have already lost. he is certainly replaceable but makes it hard after losing big simon potter as well. a lot riding on the big shoulders of vinnie "massive nose" randello and the likes now. can anyone confirm whether the peakes boys are hanging around?
