In the Sun today:
Untouchable: Cotchin, Deledio, Foley, Moore (A few more could be added here I think)
Trade Potential: Pettifer:thumbsu:, Polo:thumbsdown:, Schulz:thumbsu:, King:thumbsu:
Going, Going: JON, Casserly, Collins, Meyer
Gone: Tivendale, Hyde

What went right:11.5 wins a great return from wooden spoon last year. Have a swag of young mids, talentedkey backs in moore, mcguane, thursfield and RANCE.

What went wrong: Losing critical games Cartltank, Sydney & Adelaide (Bulldogs as well, I reckon.) Allowed the board to get antsy, crating an ever-widening rift.

What they need: Put on record they need another ruckman, if wallace gets his way an established mid (KERR:p), have plenty ofkey backs and mid-sized forwards, need depth in most other areas.

The good: Tigs averaged nine more contested possessions per game than its opponents (Second only to Geelong)

The bad: Tigs laid the fewest tackles in the competition this season:eek: and only out-tackled their opponents seven times.

B&F Favourite: RICHO

Sheahan's Verdict: The club president aside, it's hard to find any1 who isn't bullish about 09. Tigers won 8 of last 11. More importantly, Deledio, Foley, Moore, Morton, Cotchin, Thursfield, Riewoldt and company all look set for long, fruitful careers. Only three teams kicked more goals:thumbsu:. The tigs should be aiming at min of 12 wins and finals next year.

Overall, i thought it was a pretty good summation of our year...

I hope we Keep Meyer and Collins, i think he can make it from what i have seen

Trade JON for anything i dont care, as long as he can flourish somewhere else but it wont be at Richmond, i dont have the patience

As for Casserley, trade for high pick just so he can have an AFL career

really happy with that!!!:D

this is the area i think we will struggle in for a few years, only because our players are still young and a little bit to small strength wise

but after a couple of seasons in the gym i think you will see us in the top 3 of this stat to (hopefully:eek:)

Meyer WILL be an AFL footballer, I just hope it's with us. He's the type of player we desperately need to take that next step.
totally agree

Really seemed to be getting his shit together the last 4-6 weeks at Coburg , finally strung a few together without injury and featured in the best regularly ..

Watched the game against the Casey Scorpions and was very impressed .. looked a cut above that grade of footy . Looks to have filled out a bit to

I rate him a real wildcard next year ...
