Delisted players training at new AFL clubs

Just wondering if there were any sightings of delisted players at training, especially with new clubs.

I know Josh Carr is now training with Port Adelaide after being delisted by Fremantle, and also Chris Johnson is training with Carlton after being cut by Melbourne.

Any others that aren't public knowledge (or are public knowledge and I've neglected to mention them)?

For the saints there was mention that Ryan Jackson and Nathan Batsanis have been invited to train with us along with Nathan Carroll. Ben cousins has been seen using the weights room at Moorabbin too.

As you mention TRS, Chris Johnson is training with the Blues, i also believe Tom Hislop and David Gourdis have also been invited to train with Carlton.

Although Skipworth was not on an AFL list this year, he is training with the Bombers.

It's not. Hislop is training with Essendon. And why would you be happy? Didn't you learn anything with the drafting of Pfeiffer? He is a right knob, and was no surprise to me that he is on the scrap heap again.

He didnt say he was. He said he had been invited. If Hislop isnt picked up by any of the other 15 clubs, which is unlikely, Essendon will rookie him

how bad are Hislop's indiscretions? Wouldn't mind if we took him in the PSD, but it depends on whether or not his career is salvageable

I thought David Gourdis was still training with richmond, as richmond are looking to rookie him.

carlton are going to redraft him so can't be too unhappy with him.

Went out too often, got drunk too often. Went out with the intention of stirring up trouble, got glassed on one occasion apparently.

Showed zero professionalism. ie took 10 weeks to recover from a simple wrist injury do to his 'nights out'.

We're not going to find a better player or talent than Darren Pfeiffer in the rookie draft, so it's a worth another shot.

Even if he is a knob.

Ellard and Pfeiffer will play at Preston unless there's an injury.

If we're going into the rookie draft with that attitude then we deserve every bit of criticizm for poor recruiting that we may get.

The rookie draft is a very useful tool for recruiting new players even if it doesn't come with the same hype as the National Draft.

History tells us that the rookie draft, every year, comes up with a few very good players, so if we don't find someone at least as good as Pfeiffer in it, we would be disappointed.

no proven indiscretions. a few rumours about arguments with players and staff but its all hearsay really.

so id say hes behaved himself pretty well.
