Nah wasn't a very serious interview. He mentioned he had a podium finish in the greatest athlete show, and the way he spoke, I think he might have had a high podium finish

Then they were just asking him when he'll over take Gary Lyon as the best Kyabram footy player. Left that through to the keeper.
Only serious thing worth note was his praise of Coughlan. Which everyone else is doing too, so it isn't too suprising. Mentioned that Cousins had given him some handy pointers that he led WCE to the flag with. That was about it.

Also said that his name is pronounced Delidio and not Deledio. He said his family got annoyed when it was mispronounced.
From the sounds of it Cogs might just have a big year, lets hope so

Hey guys, having hear Lids right throughout the pre season and having attended a few training sessions, I really think he is going to benefit from having cogs and cuz in the team this year. Good to see lids taking a more prominent role in the media this year. Obviously very confident, and marketable. Wouldnt be surprised to see him debut on the footy show sometime this year, with Browny now on the wrong side of 30 we needed someone to come forward and bear the brunt of the media commitments from the club, and looks likes lids will be the man in 2009.
I like the Deledio from brownlow idea too, already on richmond as the team for the brownlow at $13/1 which i was quite happy with.

Nah he definitely said it was pronounced 'Delidio' He said it didn't really bother him though, more so his uncle.

only started to run a month ago but is expected to be right for round 1.
I don't think he'll play first round in the NAB but may join in come round 2 (if we make it that far).

yeah but the thing was he was over training himself... on all his days off he would run the tan and crap like that and over did it... just wandering though is the achilles injury in the foot he broke because it is not uncommon to break a bone in leg or foot and have achilles troubles after wards as it becomes tight from not doing in work over the 2-3 months of plaster and it may just need a year or 2 to get used to what he was doing

I heard it was the other foot and word from the trainers its just his body addapting to the workload. I'd still expect him to have lost some fitness over the 6-8 weeks he wasn't running but I don't think it's much to worry about. there just easing him back into it. the last thing we want is him sidelined for the season proper.
I'd kill to know what cousins has been saying to him.
