ventured down to sandy today

some interesting points, cotch still not training neither is connors

graham has improved, competed with simmons quite well

my expectations for cousins have just risen, he looks and moves like a star.

Post looks superb, as did vickery. Post has a nice strong build allready.

Deledio and bling trained the house down, as did morton.

Does anyone know what was on at Vic Park today? I tried to sneak in and someone told me there was some Acedemy thing there? Where are we training Tuesday?

Yeah, something was on at Vic Park so it was at Sandringham this week.

By what people say I wouldnt bother going Tuesdays and just make sure you check the training times on richmondfc.com.au to make sure where the Wednesday session is.

hes missed a large portion of the pre season :(

I wouldn't worry remembr he started early him conners and jack I think trained
all through the break so the fitness base they built up during this would probably carry them through, it may sound conceited but we have the players in the midfield to let him build his fitness back up without rushing him in anyway now

Pfft...

Can anyone tell me how Putt and Gourdis is going? Are they training down the house?

Putt is doing really well, hes a big boy and could be our CHF, Gourdis is doing well also, just cant tell how he is gonna go at the minute

i went down to training today (Tuesday 27th) with my mate as i was hoping to get a bit of an insight on how our guys are traveling (and of course to see ben cousins)and get some autographs :).

while most of the older guys were not there except bowden, all the young blokes were out there training pretty lightly and this is what i noticed

- Dan jackson is a bit of a unit these days and was really impressive in his reaction and handballing drills with wayne campbell and a few of the other boys
- Gourdis was having a few shots for goal and u can tell instantly that he changed his main foot half way through his career. he has a stuttery apraoch and then absolutly shanked about 3 shots to the left which is a bit of a worry. on the other hand cleve hughes was with him and he nailed every shot on all angles. i noticed that hughes is actually pretty small considering hes a FF
- jayden Post is a really top guy IMO as i was talking to him 4 a bit and i reckon hel be a really good player. he was pretty big as well, taller than hughes by a long way it looked
- andrew browne is a huge bloke and makes trent croads thighs look like matchsticks. he was sweating the house down but apart from that he looked pretty ordinary...
- nahas trained inside and dint see him much, but my dog is a great dane and it would be almost as big as him
-cousins trained inside the whole time whichwas dissapointing but everyone knows that hes going well anyway
- riewoldt has bulked up considerably and was pretty enthusiastic out there on the park and actually looked like a genuine KPP
- adam thomson has pretty decent skills from what i saw and sighned a shitload of autographs- so he must be a good bloke
- edwards looked the same as ever but hes reaction time was impressive
- cotchin didnt train neither did mcmahon which was dissapointing as hes my favourite player which people will find strange as hes critisized a lot
- we left early too escape the sun and when we left we saw mcguane leave 2 so i think theres something wrong with him, although he looked fine. probably fine. hes still fairly skinny though
- angus graham is one funny looking bloke :)

I am. Achillies is a reocurring injury like osteitis pubis it seems and it could quite just possibly limit him alot in his career if it continues to hamper his preseasons.
i had an achillies problem every time i went to run or sprint it hurt like hell, went to the physio he gave me a few exercises to do and with-in 2 weeks havent had a problem in 5 years:thumbsu:

Richmond's pathetic seriously. Do they know how to run things and get it right. Last week for the wednesday training as per the website many people go down only for them to move the training elsewhere. Last night i call the club to find out no training today only to hear on the radio that they did. Pfft Richmond get to the right standard.

Neither last weeks Wednesday session or this weeks were listed as a public session on the website. They took it down and had only Tuesdays as a public session. I would hope once we have a steady training facility at Craigieburn that the constant changing and venues and times of training will lessen and become more steady.

We had an early training session today I believe to escape the extreme heat. It wasn't public, so be it.
