Just tried to RSVP to the members cocktail party on the 22nd and told by the club it is now full.

The first time the 2000 limit has been reached. So no cocktail function for me this year - first one i will miss.

Jesus - just imagine what would happen if/when we get successful on the field again.

dont sweat it peejay, if they run to form just turn up with something yellow and black and you are in. Having said that, and i see i am not alone, i really couldnt get enthused this year. Although again if it runs to form, the food is great and its quite a good night for those that havent been, save for the spin and arse licking speeches, that really amount to JS. ;)

Didn't recieve my invite so emailed the club this morning, got a call from the membership department saying they had posted one out and must've been lost in the mail.
Lovely young lady then offered a ticket as she said tyhey were reeasing some more, so am going now, good on you RFC and Sarah in the mebership department. :thumbsu:

For those that have not been before - one tip, if you want to speak to a player just go up and start talking to them - most are very good about it - they understand that this is one of the few times of the year that they have to mingle with the fans and actually enjoy talking , as long as you don'y be stupid. - bring a marker or pen if you want stuff signed, thay all ablige.

If you don't approach then they just satnd around in ther own little groups talking amongst themselves - after all most of them are guys under 25 so don't have great people skills.

The players will pose for photos and do so happily generally.
Haven't seen many past players, it's usually the current list

If you want to really get to have a chat and a bit of fun :D with the boys, go to the B&F :thumbsu:
