Being a new player or "noob" I have no Idea who won the Mobb medal in let's say 2002 or when the Gumbies started playing or if Tiger Glory is gay or not.
So I say someone (Mobbs because he's been here for ages) should make a history of the SFA thread which is just like

Mobbenfurher Medal
2000(or whenever it started):Me(GUM)
2001:Me(GUM)
2002:Not you(Any team but GUM)
2003:Chuck Norris(Gum)
etc etc..

And do that with the awards like EKA medal,Leading Goalkicker Medal and Frankston Rover Award.

And A Team section that goes like this

Team name:I am a FIFA lover
Date Started:2007
Current Captain:Me
First Captain: Frank Lampard
etc
So what do you think?

HISTORY

2001

In 2001, the Sweet F.A. commenced as the BigFooty Football League, but altered its name in the throes of setting up its inaugural season. Two teams (Team KFC and Dingos) formed and played a practice game, which in turn generated enough interest for another team to be put together.
This team was initially called Grendel Football Club, named after its founder, but the name was changed to Team Timmy Football Club prior to its first match. Yet another team was formed, known simply as The Terminators FC, and they took the field in a friendly game against Team Timmy. A fifth team, Team Pump, was formed, and the sixth, the Ardent 18, began to form at that time. Further practice games were played as a leadup to a preseason and proper season competition for the year 2001. Terminators FC then changed their name to Bigfooty Dragons FC, and the Ardent XVIII changed to the Pagan Ducks, and completed their team list to be a starter in season 2001.
Then the seventh team was commenced, and completed by Feb 16. They took on the name of the Seventh Wonders. Team Kournikova were preseason champs for 2001, while Seventh Wonders were inaugural premiers of the main season.

-- Administrator - Mobbenfuhrer
-- Clubs - 7 (Bigfooty Dragons, Dingos, Pagan Ducks, Team Kournikova, Team Pump, Seventh Wonders, Team Timmy)
-- Preseason Champions - Team Kournikova

-- B&F - Jethro (Dragons) and AlfAndrews (Team Kournikova)

2002
The Dingoes and Team Timmy folded, and three new teams, Darkness Eternal, Hurricanes and Razors, were formed. Razors established a connection with the folded Dingoes. Team Kournikova changed name to Titans FC. This meant that the S.F.A had gone from a 7 team competition, to a 8 team one. The Bigfooty Dragons took out the 2002 Preseason competition against Razors. After 4 rounds and a break, the competition experienced a change of direction as Mobbenfuhrer handed over the reigns as administrator to eagleskickass. From here the season continued with a few ups and downs until finally the Hurricanes defeated the 2001 premiers the Wonders in the Grand Final for 2002.

-- Administrator - Mobbenfuhrer
-- Clubs - 8 (Bigfooty Dragons, Darkness Eternal, Hurricanes, Pagan Ducks, Team Pump, Razors, Seventh Wonders, Titans)

This meant that the S.F.A was now a 11 team competition. The renamed Mt Buller Demons made it to the Grand Final, but were beaten by the West Coast Magic by 10 points.

Darkness Eternal and the Hurricanes folded, while 5 new teams were added to the league, in Alberton Swamprats, BigFooty Bombers, Blues Brothers, Fremantle Dockers and Geelong Gumbies. This left the competition at a record number of 14 teams. The Roys, in their second year in the competition, won their first premiership, by 20 points against the BigFooty Bombers, in their first year.

Re: What the SFA needs...

ClarkeM, the Demons won the Pre-Season competition in '09, I'm pretty sure.

Really? I went from page to page and there was no match thread about any Pre Season competition between 07/08 Finals to 08/09 1st Rounds... I may have skipped it.
This took me a while to do so praise don't criticise ;)
Also, i went through all games I played in, in my careers, who they were against, who won, and etc. Took forever

I'm about 99% sure that we won it.

You should see how I document my career.

Re: What the SFA needs...

We could do with a weekly review section, that analyses the games, gives progressive tally with leading goalkicker, disposal stats etc. Wasn't overly active in my initial season as i don't talk the talk without showing im capable first, but pretty sure i never saw anything like that. There was a fair few ladder updates followed by plenty of shit talking at random times (LOL at Demons they're last etc etc) but nothing like a sports report. Shotgun not doin it though. Get some n00b to do it, surefire way to earn that EKA medal.
