Do you say that to punters who back the winner in preseason? Let me plead my case:

Who would we drop for the GF? I know I'm gonna have people telling me to settle down a bit and wait til the end of the season, but come on, think about it, Geelong wins by 10 goals against Melbourne while playing in 2nd gear. They beat the other premiership contenders Collingwood by 6 goals in a low scoring match. The Bulldogs have turned to shit, Freo are up there but lack experience, St.Kilda are gone, Carlton are up and down. I have a legit case, mate.

I think that Collingwood and Geelong will be the grand final temas for this year. But who will win is only time will tell.

Hmmm probably will be the Grand Final. I think I've opened up a can of worms here....

Should win it. We've opened up a large gap over the league. Still the memory of 08 means we'll remain wary. What a team though eh? I'd say Corey will take Hogan spot pretty easily. The others are tricky but we will get injuries.

Injuries will determine whether we're there at the end or not. West Coast were looking good for back-to-back at 8/2 in the equivalent round of 2007, but they lost a few guys, racked up some losses in the second half of the season and ended up doing straight sets.

Enjoy the season knowing that you already have it! Seriously, in a different bracket completely. Not taking the piss, and not putting the jinx on or any of that, it's just a beautiful football team.

Way too early to call. Plus we have a lot of work to do to counter a quick forward line.

Even Melbourne showed today there is room for improvement in defense with their mobile forward line......plus the Carlton game wasn't that long ago.

There's a long way to go, on today's form, no one should be talking premierships yet.

As for fitting those three champions in (Rooke is also a champion but I'm not confident he will return this year) it shouldn't be too problematic. There were enough poorly performing players today to create those spots.

Gee I dunno the woman behind me in the round 5 game was yelling out "Carlton will be premiers!". Of course she also wanted the umpires to bounce the ball when the warning siren went off before the actual siren for the start of play - she thought the umpires were waiting for the Geelong players to get into place before bouncing the ball.

Didn't see or hear today's game, so have only seen the reports of the best players. Who would you put in the group of poor performers today?

Agree, Saints WILL play the 2010 GF, hopefully vs Geelong

Hogan, Mackie and Blake were the 3 standouts for poor games.
