I wish to invite all leagues to submit a "best 20" based team to an inter-league carnival, covering one or two weekends (dunno when, really).

Here are my grading regulations :
To get started, any new league is to be classified as minor. Any league that is into plural seasons, is classified major. This is for the first inter-league carnival only.

This means that :
Major Leagues : Sweet FA, ######### FFL
Minor Leagues : Take Forum AFL, Ponting FFL, BRLFFFL, Qooty FFL

So over a two week period, the two Major Leagues would play two matches, one at each home ground.

The four Minor Leagues could play a knockout (with a 3rd-place play-off too), to determine 1-4 rankings.

The #1 team from these rankings would gain promotion to Major League status! Ooh bragging rights. OOH SLEDGING RIGHTS!

The number of teams promoted to Major League status might grow if more leagues come on board in the next year. EG if two more leagues start next year, creating a Major/Minor split of 3/5, then the #2 ranked minor league would also be promoted to Major League status. Then the leagues would be ranked : Major 1,2,3,4; Minor 1,2,equal 3, equal 3

Nominations for Interleague side from Western Wallabies.

Wing - Gerta (Getting plenty of the ball, one of the leading players)
Centre - MasterOfRoc (3 games in the middle, dominating)
Full Forward - Itsmyshow (3 games at FF, 8 goals, clearly the best FF at the moment)
 
just send the whole donkey floggers outfit, it will save you the tedious selection process...which would probably end up with the same result anyway.

Im happy to play... Agree with the above noms too...

Gerta's been influencial, and should be a certain starter.

ItsMyShow - agree, Clearly best FF at the moment

and Myself, Averaging nearly 30 possies per game (at the Center Possie....)

There ya have 3 certain starters :) (plus we are 3 of the few that make ourselves available (post) each week!

JohnnyTapp - wing -is ave 23 possys, 8 marks a game kicked 8-1 in 5 rounds
Morphous- midfielder- ave 11 kicks and 5 tackles a game
VT#23 - midfielder - ave 20 possys a game, ave 30 possys a game last three weeks playing in the middle
The Iceman#49- forward - ave 14 possy's and 3 marks per game kicked 7-9 in the first 5 games
Marto121 - midfielder - 10 kicks and 5 tackles per game
 
Fantastic ideal that Mob.. I think regularity of posts should be involved in the criteria for selection.. But yeah great idea :thumbsu:

I'll second that, a good idea for a bit of fun.

My only concern is what the BFRFFL jumper will look like, if we take a piece of each clubs, it could look fairly ordinary.

Will be interested to see what anyone can come up with!:)

i think we should go for something simple like the old shepparton jumper that guy in the Toyota ads with Steve Curry wears. just a nice yellow background and then jam the letters BFRFFL on top of each other. it will be ugly, like our respective jumpers.

sorry roc, been spewing up:eek: from the disgustingly awesome jumper u have produced.. it cant all be about posts, if u cant get the ball on a tuesday night why should they get picked just cause the have a bit of a yumma.
 
.... Is it fair to pick guys that aren't contributing to the convo's? Lets face it... if (the lowest stats scorer in the comp) was to become Center, Ruck Rover, or Rover.... they would score well, irrelevant of their history
 
I need to lift my game! have gone quiet of the last 2 or so weeks. Will never get a gig in real interleague so keen to do what i can for this one!
