Who is the youngest of them all?

The lack of experience on our list is pretty extraordinary. That's why it was so important to get game-time into our younger players late last season. Older lists like the Tiges, and Dons, have a large cohort of 30 year old+ type, that we just don't have. The point is, development of our talent is just so crucial at this stage. :)

Totally agree but Richmond and Essendon don't have the same capacity for development across the board as us. They both have a wealth of players on the way down, with major gaps to fill in the next few years. And a big age gap between the next talented group.
Imo, if we can fast track the development of our kids similar to the Pies, Port and the Lions next season. that give our oldest class player in Fev, around four more years. With the added games in the young legs.

I think the club will place the major focus on development. With a reported $1.25 mil spent this year and to be spent again next year, i would be very disappointed if we spent close to North Melbourne's 'Vodafone' deal on our footy dept and didn't see some good results:thumbsu:

They did lose a lot of age in Cousins, RoJo, Wooden and to a lesser extent Judd, whilst adding Kennedy + 4 other 1st year draftees. Still, it does hold them in good stead for the future, especially considering the calibre of youth they've acquired (4 picks in the top 22 and a number four draft pick in Kennedy).

.......and Daniel Chick.

And that has been our biggest problem for some time parrot. We have been crying out for some quality players in that 24-28 year group, and for 2008, we get 3 quality additions to this group in Stevens, Judd and Hadley. With the development of our kids, it could be quite an exciting time at Princes Park in 2008 and beyond.
