Jarryd Morton - 33 Disposals (13 Kicks, 20 Handballs) 6 Marks, Another brilliant game by the Hawks youngster and has stepped up to the plate after been given a chance through injuries and suspensions. Looks like a real player

David Myers - 21 Possesions (16 Kicks, 5 Handballs) 6 Marks, 3 Tackles, Another Essendon youngster who has shone this season. Had a great game on the weekend through the middle.

Chris Mayne - 21 Possesions (9 Kicks, 12 Handballs) 7 Marks, 2 Tackles, The tough at it youngster from Fremantle has been in good form and his toughness at the ball has Fremantle Fans impressed

Cleve Hughes - 9 Possesions (7 Kicks, 2 Handballs) 5 Marks, 6 Goals, First nomination for the Richmond youngster this season and well deserved after a breakthrough game kicking 6 goals in a Richmond win.

Gavin Urquhart - 18 Possesions (10 Kicks, 8 Handballs) 6 Marks, 2 Tackles, Since debuting about a month ago this youngster has certainly been a find for the Kangaroos. Has strung consistent games in a row since debuting.

I have just lost all respect for this award. How the hell can you not have Colin Garland and Kyle Reimers? I would have the both of them before those 5 options.

i think cleve deserves it as he was under pressure to keep his spot...
i think he would be gone at the end of the year if he didn't have a big second half to the year...

From a completely unbiased point of view I'd have to say Cleve Hughes. 6 goals is 6 goals. Cleve silenced a lot of critics with that match.
