Ovechkin the first to win the big four: Hart, Richard, Pearson and Art Ross.

Was Boudreau deserving of the Adams? Personally, the trophy should have gone to Stevens. Took the Flyers from the Eastern Conference scrapheap to the Conference finals in the space of a season, no mean feat.

The consensus among Flyer fans is that (much like Therrien at the Pens), Philadelphia got as far as they did based on their talent, and in spite of their coach.

If anyone was challenging Boudreau for the Jack, it'd be Mike Babcock. That's it.

Yeah, most Flyers fans wanted Stevens' head during their slide down the stretch.

Most favourites won. Nabokov probably should have pipped Brodeur, but Brodeur does win a lot of games for the Devils by himself, according to Devils fans.

All awards were pretty much spot on apart from the Vezina and Selke.

Vezina should have gone to Nabokov and the Selke should have gone to Zetterberg. Watching Zets in the playoffs only confirmed the respect I have for his defensive game.
