Coaches Thoughts:

A very good year from the boys. A little disappointed to lose the final game to get into the Grand Final, but I cannot fault the boys for effort. From where this club was 3 years ago, to where we are now, it is almost unrecognisable. The boys really have a belief now, and expect to win most games, a far cry from where we first started, when we just expected to be competitive. Colin Sylvia was fantastic this season, and was aided in the midfield by Brett Deledio, who, despite missing a few games through injury, showed we he is so highly rated around the league as an Elite player. Mitch Clark again shows why he is so important to us, kicking 100 goals in the year, in a fantastic achievement for him. Now the boys have tasted finals for successive years, and have managed to win a few finals games, we really need to focus on taking that next step and securing a Grand Final berth.​
