hi all,
Carngham linton football club are lookimg for a practice match on 15th 23rd or 24th march, we play in the central highlands footy league and are located around the ballarat area, please let me know if anyone is interested, would be prepaired to travell if need be...

hi mate,
we are looking at 15th due to a large number of players still playing cricket on 16th, so we are thinking a friday night twighlight will suit us better for player numbers and quality..

Reported in today's Colac Herald that Clay Brewer will be returning for South Colac in 2014. Will they be able to make up for the loss of ex captain Jake Odwyer? Who heads to Colac
According to Colac FM, Lorne have lost a decent amount from the Premiership side including Smartt and Barham.
It looks like the league will also close the loophole that allows VFL players to qualify for finals so easily.

Any news on Lorne's recruiting to replace these players? I also see colac fm have reported that the league will play interleague again next year against warrnambool district at the central reserve

That seems a little harsh seeing as Barham played junior footy for Lorne before being drafted by Collingwood.

Seems that some have been poached by Winchelsea and some might be off to Colac and that others will be O/S. Might be 6 or 8 down at this stage, but there are others in the mix as replacements.

Travelled from Melbourne. Colac FM also reporting they have lost the ruckman also

Word has it that it's one or more of the Steven's...rellos of Jack but info is a little hazy at the moment. Isnt one of them already playing there? Looks like the ones that are leaving are all very handy...but replacements are in the pipeline.

Western Eagles footballer Jake Reed to potentially line up for Melbourne Renegades in big bash. Would be a big loss to the eagles if cricket prevented him from returning.

Reports that lewie hollmer and jax barham playing at Port Fairy. The players seem to be denying this. Can you shed any light?

Seems unlikely...you sure its Lewie Holmer they're talking about? If I'm right Barham works with Jack in Geelong area, but the Barhams are from that way originally...but Jax likes to surf and there's better surf around this end of the coast more often. Regardless, at this stage their future here is cloudy and not having a ground until April will not help things! Thanks to the clowns at the Surf Coast Shire.

I saw on Facebook that Lorne has struggled with numbers so far and put out a SOS as they are concerned about filling 2 sides 
could be a huge fall from grace considering both sides made the big dance in 2013.

Yep...no doubt Lorne are stuggling to find two teams...and not having a ground to train on hasn't helped.
