So here's a thought on Polec - what if we have a lesser player who is happy to go, But Lions said hmmm.. We're interested but on his own its not enough. Lets say for arguments sake it's Luke Thomson.

Pretty sure that's a mate of his, so of course he's going to go into bat for him.

Most of the good mids will be gone by 2nd round ....as it's a midfielders draft

Apart from a couple of KPP (Boyd & the red headed WA boy?) ......most of the KPP will be available from the 2nd round which positions us well

Don't know much about Brown? ....care to expand?

Ben Brown is 20yo 198cm fwd/2nd ruck. Originally from Tasmania missed his draft class with injury. Went to Werribee and played 2013 season with them in VFL - reported to have had a good season with them, very accurate kick for goal and good agility. Is a genuine KPP as much as a ruck.

Tipped to last until mid 40's. just the type we need. I'm hoping the Tasmanian connection with Ogilvie will have him on our radar
