Competitions 2014 Bigfooty Supercoach Club Championship

I thought of holding out and taking the hit for this week, but I want to crack into the top 10k this year and need to make sure I can get every stinking point I can if I want to stay in Div1 next year.

Yeah I definitely want to crack the top 10,000 as well.

Last year I made a few mistakes early and couldn't catch up during the season. I definitely pays to make a good start.

Had 2 absolute stinkers to start the year.

Didn't think my team was that bad but none are performing.

Well, even though I had one player score no points (as he didn't play and I didn't have a sub who was playing) I still scored 4th best in our league. My overall ranking went down about 6000 because of it though.

There were a lot of low scoring players this week, then a few that were absolutely huge.

Sitting 8th in div 1 currently. Slightly disappointing start but not totally unexpected with money in the bank. Strength has always been my trading so i guess i will need to make them count again this year!

Mitchell may be back for the next game. Ask someone on the Hawks board.

Geelong board suggests 1-2 weeks. Balme thinks 2 but some pessimistic people are saying 4 due to his veteran status. If you need to trade him out you could do worse than Shaun Burgoyne. Even though the Hawks are playing Freo Burgoyne seems to be one of the few players whose recent record against Freo isn't all that bad.

I agree about cash, Rohan and Impey probably have one or two more price rises in them before they attain their levels. I'd cash in on them quickly, some others like Polec, Ellis, Dunstan, Langdon and Georgiou should continue to garner quite a fair bit of cash each week and be ready to be sold off in the byes. Who's JKH?

I had Burgoyne in my SCDraft last year - very pleased. I don't think I will trade either Mitchell or Enright at the stage. I think in the long-run they will both be in the top 8 (or 10) defenders; two trades each to bring them back in - not sufficient cash generation for mine

JKH = Jay Kennedy-Harris - small forward from Melbourne

at the minute my trades are Franklin - Zorko and Rohan - Ambrose

Fyfe and Barlow out for 2 and 4-6 weeks. Could get away with using reserves for Fyfe but anyone with Barlow will want to trade.

This weekend gone, I was ranked 16th overall for the round and have moved to an overall ranking of 620th.

I really don't wanna use two trades every week (for obvious reasons later in the year) but now I'm ranked 620th for the entire supercoach, do I leave it the same, or try and strengthen my on field team with trades.

I'm in a similar dilemma with a team I have in Real Dream Team. After this week I am ranked 102 overall. I'm getting all flustered now as to what to do. I've never been so high.
