I'm in the same situation as you and have narrowed it down to Goldy and Stef...
At the moment I'm going with Stef, he is almost 200k cheaper and seems to be no more trent west

Is Nankervis a solid ruck back-up for the rest of the season?
At $226k, he has scored 70 against Adelaide and 86 against Melbourne.
He can sit at my F7 and swing to the rucks if any of Gawn/Goldy misses.
His only competition is Sinclair right?

I'd save the trade JM.
Yeah I'm leaning that way too mate.
Plus Nank is pretty expensive. I'd rather use the money it takes to get him in on my last 2 upgrades instead.
Think of it this way: if Goldy or Gawn goes down you can use that trade to get next best available ruckman and cream everyone who's got Nankervis for cover.

Worry about that if/when Gawn or Goldy go down I reckon.
I'd say Jacobs or Martin.
It certainly is daylight though in between Goldy, Gawn and those 2 though when Goldy is 100% healthy.

That's exactly the reason why I prefer Nankervis as ruck cover because of the uncertainty after Goldy/Gawn.
Would rather hold either if it's only a one weeker than trade them out.
With trades in hand you can take the next best available for a week or two then bring gawn/goldy back a when fit. This is assuming they go down around SC finals.
Conventional wisdom says a waste of trades but if down to your final few and it allows you to cream the competition who are farting about with Toby Nankervis ...
Well. A lot to be said for trades in hand.
