Also from the same article:

"Meanwhile, luckless running defender Coby Burgiel also appeared to injure his troublesome hamstring once again early in the session.

The speedster went off the track with trainers to get work on his right hamstring. Burgiel tried to do some run-throughs but was still in discomfort and left the track after about 40 minutes.

Burgiel only played three WAFL games for the Eagles because of repeat hamstring injuries which required surgeries and ended his year in May.

Jai Culley (ACL), Zane Trew (back) and Reuben Ginbey (managed) also continued to train away from the main group as they work their way into 2024.

Midfielders Elijah Hewett and Dom Sheed were both not spotted on the track on Monday, while running defender Josh Rotham was also absent."

It's hilarious to me that they still haven't accepted that maybe something is either:

a) wrong with their training ground
b) wrong with Optus stadium
c) wrong with their training regimen
d) all or some of the above

Just same s**t every year. Soft tissue injuries, and contact injuries. Sucks for supporters, but club really needs to get its sh*t together and fix this, lol.

Except one of those things is clearly not the issue and one of these things has been changed.

That leaves one option

(unless the players are in fact coming back unprepared)

I wouldn't put much stock in this. It's a little click-baity.

This would be a better guide:

This is fair, but you've gotta admit, it's getting pretty insane this is happening 3 years in a row - especially with players that aren't even that injury prone (TK comes to mind).

Thanks Maybe Tomorrow ..... Fisher off late with a tight hammy, apparently.

Thanks Jcpdragonx ....Curtin, Heard knee cap issue, maybe dislocation for Curtin

All TBC
Seems the news on Curtin was greatly exaggerated ......hardly a peep about any injury on the Crows Board
