If he kicks six on his right foot needs to be dropped for not also kicking 6 on his left.

Liked his physicality and effort, but will quickly learn the fend off isn't going to work at this level for him.

The pace of the game was beyond him last night. He didn't have a plan in his head prior to getting the footy.

I like him, he tried hard but he needs to work on disposing the ball before he gets tackled. It was very frustrating watch him get the ball and then get nabbed in a tackle.

Doesn't look ready for AFL level yet.

I liked what I saw. Thought he was super clean collecting the ball, particularly early. He'll adjust to the pace after a few more games.

Reminded me a lot of Petracca's first game. Got tackled a tonne. A big wakeup call to the speed of the game.

Give him another week or two imo. Throwing him back to Casey after one game doesn't do his confidence any favours.

Yeah tough game to debut, would like to see him in a few more games. If Windsor debut last night we would probably say the same about him.

He's looked ordinary at Casey tbh though in the couple of games he's played. I like the kid, but he's not close to being ready.

I didnt see last weeks VFL but kind of agree, hes playing coz the cupboard is bare. Wasn't a horrific debut but you can see that he needs to get some more VFL games into him.

I was surprised he got called up tbo , and although i don't think he was our worst out there , i expect him to be back at Casey when Hunter is fit .

You can see why we picked him. Hes hard working and selfless.

When his tank and body build in the next few years he’ll be a great addition, albeit he’ll probably be a role player rather than a match winner.

I think this is the true value of a debut game like that.

Tholstrup will now truly appreciate the step up in pace from training match simulation, VFL games and AFL practice matches to the real deal.

He showed a few good glimpses and his hands were clean. All part of his development.
