Lol, Rambo. Nicely written script that one.

We were undermanned but to lose the second half 3-0 simply isn't good enough. After the first half performance, we should have been coming away with at least a point tonight.

Redbacks win, Ramsey actually scores and City win....... what a day.

We miss Boogs and Isa badly.

Marrone has been playing well but not sure how you can lose Iain Ramsey of all players for the third goal. He should have cleared it off the line plain and simple.

Doubt we'll see top spot this season. Perth win this weekend that's almost our chance gone. As usual, we only have ourselves to blame.

Yep, all over now IMO. Best hope from here is Victory run away with it and we overtake Perth to come 2nd. All the points lost this season... Victory at AO up with a few minutes to play, Perth at home the other week, Central Coast away... not to mention losses against an understrength Brisbane Roar at home and a loss to Newcastle. Then again have salvaged 2 late wins vs Phoenix and Wanderers.

It's highly unlikely we'll win the championship unless we finish top 2. With this squad, we should be finishing there this season. It will be massively disappointing if we finish outside the top two.

We have a difficult run of games to end the season, so it's going to be interesting how good we really are.

Is Aaron Mooy the best player in the A-League at the moment? He'd have to be right up there.

He's in good form, but I wouldn't go that far. He did the same thing in his first season at WSW but faded late,, hopefully he goes on with this time though.
Fair point. I would suggest that he's been really consistent this year though with very few poor games. I think he's in the conversation.

Not the best player in the A-League atm does tend to go missing in some matches, but he is a shoe in to take Bresciano's spot in the Socceroos I'd say.
Not sure about that. We've got some depth in that number 8 role. The likes of Antonis, Troisi, De Silva, Milligan, Holland, Bozanic, Amini and Rogic if he can get back would all be eyeing off that midfield spot alongside Luongo and Jedinak. He should be right in the mix though and deserves a callup for the game against Germany.

Yep he was very stiff I thought to miss out on the Asian Cup, now that Bresh is gone I think he can make that position his own, and we do need a dead ball specialist too, he deserves a chance to prove himself.
