One of the biggest wastes of talent ever. He got into trouble with the Crows for skipping training to go to the Guns and Roses concert in melbourne. More fool him from all accounts it was bloody awful . Then later got picked up DUI and I'm pretty sure the Crows sacked him after that. He played out 1992 at North Adelaide, and played well. From memory Darel Hart read him the riot act when he became North's coach in 1993 and there was "a parting of the ways". Such a shame. Would have been an out and out champion if he'd knuckled down.

I remember him well, I was 9 year old at the time, I went to his first game at footy park against the swans where he played very well but after a few games went missing and we never seen him again. he also played against the big V in the state of origin game that year, he started on the bench with Modra.

My understanding is he never got over recurring shin splints. He had talent but kept breaking down . Hence only 3 games or so.
