Everyone heard the explanation from the umpire. It was a wrong call and the reasoning was totally incompetent

You could argue McGovern's arm extension was wider as well. How did that pull out that free kick, at that time, in that position. It's just bloody dreadful. If that happened to Carlton I'd be ropable

Mind you when we got the free I was pretty baffled as well.
