From WJ on Demonland.

Jack has had 20 possessions in the first half. Very close to BOG. Wowser!

Emma Quayle Tweet:

Amazing to think the Dees have to wait another year to get Jack Viney into their team. He has torn the @TACCUP GF to bits so far!

Jonesy had 39 possessions for Dandy in their losing 2005 GF. He didn't get BOG though.

The kid is a freak. We could slot him in to our side next year and he would tear the comp to shreds. Bloody hell I can't wait to see him in the red and blue!

As Deestroy said, McLean won 1. Also Dale Thomas & who could forget Sidebottom's 10 goal effort.

Pretty sure it was Matty Bate for the Eastern Ranges, probably in '05? Maybe '04.

Bate won a Morrish medal, TAC Cup league BnF.

Ever heard of Fortunato Caruso? He won 2 consecutive Morrish medals after Bate, never made an AFL list.

The list of TAC cup GF best on ground winners way outshines the Morrish medal winners, so good signs for Viney.

TAC Cup Future Stars was a waste of a program. Watched that tripe for an hour, hoping to see some Jack Viney highlights. Got nothing and barely any highlights from the game full stop.

We deserved Viney highlights after watching Hutchy's ugly head for an hour. It's never worth watching anyway.

Nah, he was ;)

Actually, Daisy Thomas got the medal that day. I remember being at the game and thinking Thomas was a lightweight who wouldn't cut the mustard at the top level. How did I go with that one?!?!

Interesting list there S39 - I wonder how many of those players were bottom age though. Wouldn't have thought there would have been too many.

Can we start up a "Please AFL. Let Jack Viney play at Casey in 2012" campaign. What a waste of a year it would be if Jack played private school footy next year. If he was in WA or SA he would at least have the opportunity to play senior WAFL or SANFL footy.

Get on to it Schwabby!

I could be wrong but I don't think any of those kids were bottom age.

I'd hate to a skinny year 10 kid playing footy against Carey Grammar next year. I 'd make sure my insurance was paid.

He could just turn up for Casey games instead of Carey ones, claiming dyslexia...

I'm pretty sure there is a rule that allows us to apply to the AFL and get dispensation to allow him to play. It may all so come into play that we've already committed to take him in the 2012 draft. Similar to David Swallow and co last year.
