2nd place for $767, and $212 in bounties

Key hand: I had top pair on a J 8 10 board, but he had 7 9 and got stacks back to even, but i just couldn't hit hands and he outplayed me a bit too i think. Could feel a small difference in skill.

Had a couple of hands after that to get me back to the lead, but lost a huge pot with 77 against his AQ when he flopped a Q and rivered a straight to leave me with about 4 BB's and it was over :(

Good run at least, but couldn't finish this one....

Played with patience and was short stacked most of the way as we went from 40 players down to FT. Got some hands when i needed and got some nice KO's on the FT to give me a big chip lead.....

Said i'd be back deep again :)

Brutal live cash game session last night.
Played about 3 hours, had opponents flop sets on me 4 times and another time a flopped straight, each time I flopped top pair or had an overpair. On the flipside I must have seen a dozen flops with pocket pairs and hit one set (on the button in a limped pot and everyone folded to me on the flop). FML.
 
Guy just folded, no c-bet needed :D

Not a huge fan of how you played this hand mate, I don't like the 3b pre but if we are going to 3b we have to have a plan when he 4bets and I don't like calling here probably the worst option. In an $11 they are very rarely going to 4bet/fold so I don't think going all in is an option either. As played I think we have to fold to the 4bet but for future references I wouldn't 3bet in the first place you can just flat and play the hand with 30ish bb.

Also your in the SB your 3bet is going to get called a lot so there is no real reasoning behind 3betting so small there. If you are going to 3bet it has to be bigger then that out of position. I would just flat his open in the SB with relative stacks.

After reading what you wrote and then looking at the hand I understand what you mean.
With his 4bet, i'm looking at higher pairs than mine or AK AQ. Which would suggest a fold.
If I go all in he hits on the turn anyway.
If I flat call i'm probably folding after the ace drops or even earlier.
Or he may even fold if I lead out utg on the flop.

The three bet was just stupid and I guess I will learn from that.

Still with all that being said, I put my chips in when I was in front and I didn't do it for the sake of it, I thought I was in front. So the one positive I take out of it is that the read was good.

Yeah but you are literally guessing, you're hoping that he doesn't have an over pair. You should be going all in at least knowing what sort of range they have his range was as wide as the sun there is no reason why he cant have 1010+/sets you just happened to find the bottom of his calling range (Which I don't think was a call anyways).

Who lost the hand after with 10/10 and has gone from a 20K stack to 10 bigs.....and now he's gone 3 hands later :D
 
Got 12th in the Big $33 for $284

Played ok and was very patient..... got very card dead after the 11pm break.... got AA first hand back and a small stack shoved into me with 55 and ran out clean and i peaked at 114K

Then bluffed off about 40K in chips with A9 vs J10 and he called on a K 10 high board. I should've checked river. After that only had 1 hand worth playing with which was A8 which i doubled (shoved with about 6-7BB's) and the deck got colder after that again :(

Went on an entire orbit where i had a 3 in my hand 7 times! Just couldn't get it and was out shoving J9dd and ran into 10's. Needed a diamond or a J on river but he faded it...

Deepest run by far in that one. Was fun...... shame i couldn't make a decent run at the FT
