The junior section of the club has voted to move but rdfl will definitely try to block the move... Not sure why they would want to go without their seniors even though technically they are different clubs.

Sunbury will lose gate money if they come to the edfl... Our clubs don't charge entry to games... No local rivalry what so ever in edfl either... At least they have the old rdfl clubs in the bfl as rivals

They may lose at the gate but the crowds will be bigger - more booze and food sales and the sponsorship will increase. Sunbury can pull this off and it will not take them long to go into A grade. They have been building towards the move for a while now. No more cheating BFL umpires and no freezing trips to the coldest hole in Victoria - Ballarat!


 
We all hope sunbury do go to the edfl as the umpires won't have to put up with biased diatribe from Sunbury supporters. The Ballarat clubs will appreciate not having to travel to hillbilly heaven too!!!

Sorry rexxy will clarify my point. Was saying the AIM is that type of list. When saying 10 players with senior vfl experience I mean 10 Bona fides vfl players, seniors or walk up start seasoned reserve player, not a blow in and out who plays half local half vfl reserves. I was looking at the club as a whole list, need reserves in finals and strong under 18 team and at least 6 or so players to have come through the tac system, they can be in seniors reserves or unders just players with that coachig and experience under their belts. End of the day all it means is you need a club to win a gf in the bfl not a good senior side with nothing underneath and clubs need to focus on building a whole list across the board. If u dont u will fail when it counts in my opinion. The comp prob fell away 5-8 goals this year and yet redan won it with ok maybe not ten vfl senior experienced players but prob atleast 8 or 9 plus players with sold vfl reserve experience plus players with inter league experience plus an under 18 team that won it and a reserves team that played finals. If the comp kicks up again next year you will need more than that to win it or atleast that to challenge for it that's all I meant. It is a big IF though the comp may stay the same or go backwards who knows? Let the silly season begin!
 
Redan are losing a few players going out to springbank with Giblett one would be Knowles and a few Ballarat blokes going to Newlyn with sewell

I heard on Grand Final day that more than a fair share of their senior team are being chased (with money offers), coming from left right and centre...
 
Jackson fisher Thompson all left Ballarat to go to springbank. Hutchy Must of got the best out of them to leave and go to a minor league. And Sewell to Newlyn. could be a long year oracle

Add a couple that are going to lexton & newlyn. This is old news but i really think they will fold. Its there own fault though. Ballarat are looking like they will be average next year. Whats going on oral69
 
We r happy to develop future coaches like sewelly & some players move on when they become realistic with their ability or want to b a big fish in a small pond. When people like scuttlebug bombers bag us we are not worried. Who is coaching Darley, melton & filling the seconds & u18s & even for the chicken boners in Sunbury the netballers.







Bombers u cant handle the truth. You sit the other side of a computer in your reserves gear waiting to be called off the bench:D

& what is the truth oral?? Your club is broke?? Players havent been paid?? You have asked sponsers & the bfl for a chop out??
