what days and times do the reserves and seniors train?
cheers

Monday 6pm at Sth Barwon oval - the one near Kmart and river, not on Breakwater Rd. Wednesdays oval 3 Eastern Gardens near Geelong High School.

Good numbers and the new coach is fantastic, juniors are welcome, Jesse, Walshy, Starky and alot of under 18s are joining in.

See you there Benny.:thumbsu:

Hey Punchy,
When are you going to recruit that little bloke who got knocked out by that ex AFL star ?
:)

He would be a handy pickup no doubt the young Brody, knocked out by Sean Simpson in a training drill and went on to kick 5 that Saturday, unfortunately he would put us over the salary cap and comes with as much baggage as Fevola on a footy trip so no go for now. Give him one more season at Ammos to work on his skills then the committee will sit down with him to discuss terms!

Just give his old man a slab :thumbsu:

Done, throw in a free boxing lesson too, ps - your goal umpire.

He would look good in a Lions jumper, so done deal for a slab (4 dad), 2 potatoe cakes, sav and batter and powerade home game only! :thumbsu:

PS If he plays seniors this year we can renegotiate.

Who are you talking about??

good solid tough running goalkicking midfielder from ammos to replace red who wants to try his luck at st marys and play 2nds in u16 division 6 while our under 16s will be in division 2, doen'nt make sense but it is up to him.:thumbsu:

leave bill alone he can make his decisions.

Punchy...You seem to be the man that knows alot about the club.

Wondering if you can do me a favour and name a Belmont Lions side

thats your best in the last 20 years so 1990 onwards.

Will be interesting to see what you come up with...:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Punchy....Thanks but I knew a few guys that were around earlier than 1998 that went alright and were wondering where they sat without naming names...
People are pretty quick to forget blokes if they didn't play in a premiership side but quite often are better players than blokes that did. :thumbsu::thumbsu:

The club had many legends (on and off the field....) during that time....too many to name. We are starting a past players club and hope to get alot of old faces back down to support the seniors and maybe get involved. There will be a "legends" game organised for mid year, one will have Peter Newtown as coach and the other Dave Franey. Both great past players and they went ok on the footy trips too!:thumbsu:
