Goodwin?Looked gone there for a while. Good win.
Wa get home
Yeah, the batting has been very poor this year.Wouldn't be blaming the bowlers.
Got bowled out twice last game for under 150.
Still, you bank the early wins. Formlines mean nothing when you factor in a 2-3 month break with BBL etc.Yeah, the batting has been very poor this year.
Sitting on top of the shield table (extra game over Tassie) but easily bottom for batting bonus points.
We need Inglis back bad. Philippe is just sad out there.Pretty good to be top of the table right now having gotten zero matches from Green, Inglis, Marsh, Jhye and Kelly, plus Paris missing two matches and Morris being managed by CA.

Hit a six, looked fairly comfortable with Goodwin. Tried to sweep a full Manenti ball and made himself look a bit silly.I saw Wyllie came back on. How did he look?

Depends if CA clears them to play.Green and Marsh coming back soon. Wonder if they will play a shield game before the bbl
After that innings Goodwin should be moved to the number 3 spot for the next shield game against Queensland. I’d go with the following for team for that game.
Bancroft
Whiteman
Goodwin
Marsh
Green
Hardie
Curtis
Richo
Paris/Haskett
Rocco
Morris/Stobo
Looking at dates Marsh & Green will be back from India & should be available.
Inglis & Stonis will stay around for the T20 Series in India.
Philippe can be replaced by Curtis who can surely give us more with the bat.
Wylie is out of form & could miss anyway because of his elbow blow while Cartwright is struggling with his knee.
Bowler wise questions marks on Paris being fit although he did bowl again & looked fine, while who knows if Morris will be managed once again. Richo should be fit while Stobbo is very unlucky to miss but would step in if Paris/Morris don’t play. Strong Team
Stobo has been a great pickup. Just looked at his FC stats & he's had a really nice start to his career. 42 wickets @ 22.61 & handy with the bat averaging 23.12 in 12 matches. Feel like he quietly goes about his business.Stobo should have been player of the match. Took 5/77 with the ball and scored 18* and 26 with the bat.
I've got a feeling that if WA make the Shield final, we'll be playing Tassie in Tassie unfortunately.
I don’t know how Tassie are doing so well. Pretty solid lineup but on paper their attack is absolutely terrible.
