Ok, so I don't know how this one is going to go, but I have invented a hybrid game between the AFL and the Hunger Games series.
The rules are very simple and you absolutely don't have to be a fan of the Hunger Games to participate.

First of all I have selected 24 players (tributes) from 12 "Districts" using a random number generator between 1 and 40. The number that was selected correlates to each team's player's shirt number:
District 1 (Hawthorn):
Hawthorn Tribute 1: Isaac Smith (16)
Hawthorn Tribute 2: Bradley Hill (10)
District 2 (Geelong):
Geelong Tribute 1: Joel Selwood (14)
Geelong Tribute 2: Jimmy Bartel (3)
District 3 (Collingwood):
Collingwood Tribute 1: Tony Armstrong (27)
Collingwood Tribute 2: Lachlan Keeffe (23)
District 4 (Essendon):
Essendon Tribute 1: Tom Bellchambers (2)
Essendon Tribute 2: Dustin Fletcher (31)
District 5 (Carlton):

Each week you are able to nominate one player you want killed (ie. eliminated from the competition). The player with the most votes each week will be killed. In case 2 or more players have the equal most number of votes by the end of the week, they will all be killed.
The deadline for each week is Sunday at 9 PM after which which a player dies and a new week begins.
You are also able to "sponsor" a player you want to see win the competition. By sponsoring a player you are able to subtract 3 votes against them in a given week. However, if you sponsor a player, you are ineligible from sponsoring again for 2 weeks (you are still eligible to nominate players you want killed though during that period).
This competition will continue until there is only one remaining survivor.
