Feel free to add to this register. I'll start:

1. By clicking a coloured prefix on the Geelong Board, all threads with that prefix will be displayed.

If you don't like someone's posts, rather than whinge about it and derail a thread (or many threads), try ignoring them, even for just a while. Click on their username, when the pop-up comes up, click "ignore".

So how did you do that, and what does gif stand for?

GIF = Graphics Interchange Format.
They are just another file type like .jpeg or whatever.
But they are picture files so you can upload them here as that.
Obviously you make them from movies - using various bits of software.

I am so basic on computers, I really don't know how you get a vision like that and then put it on BF, or anywhere for that matter.

I've been working with video/graphics/sound on computers for years, and still haven't got the hang of making .gif's as well as you.

How do I post a photo from my iPhone? I used to be able to do it with tapatalk, but since bigfooty changed I haven't been able to use it.

As for inserting gifs karencatsfan. You can do by linking direct from a page using the IMAGE button (between Smiley Face & Film stock icons on the taskbar)...

But be careful doing this as some sites don't approve of hotlinking (and the image you think you're posting may not be the one that appears).

Or

use an image hosting site (Photobucket, Imgur, TinyPic et al) and save images to that and then use the IMAGE function but cutting & pasting a direct link from your image host.

This has allowed me to post Natalie Dormer *swoon*.

Sadly I don't think I explained it properly judging by the look on her face.

It helps if you can remember a phrase or unusual word- and who wrote what you're looking for. You can tag the poster there (they don't get a notification -- it's just to refine your search) and search through all their posts with those words/word in their posts. You have to be patient, though, and there are only so many posts it will bring up, so the more specific you are, the better.
