According to Dre Everitt's instagram he has been told he is no longer required at Carlton

Had to be done. Can play but chooses when. Was good for a year or so.

We are moving forward with Bolton types.

Agree. Just turned up and punched the clock in 2016. Maybe a chance to be put on the Rookie List.

I gather the 6 uncontracted are as good as gone.

Quick question, is Gowers still on the list?

Nothing official.

His exact words:-

So he had to go to a meeting to find out his future. Better than a phone call I guess but this time of year is cutthroat.

Like Cameron Wood, he probably hasn't worked hard enough for the chances that he got. He is a good footballer, but as others have noted, he chooses when to turn it on... and unfortunately, in 2016... the switch was mostly in the off position.

I am sure that there will be another club who will look at him for a 1-2 year contract as cover for their kids coming through.

When I think of it this is a pretty casual reaction to being delisted. Think this sums up his football

Think we'll see some unexpected names in the delistings :\ (well sort of - Bucks, Graham, Rainbow, Sheehan all uncontracted)

Yes. Toughest for some time. Whatever they have to do ....

I know of a few others that will be devo as well.
I'd hope that would reflect the nature of the quality coming in, rather than his skill level or application.

That said, not going to happen; he'll be the last uncontracted player to be sent packing.
