My point in that post was, why would Sydney’s, Brisbane’s, Geelongs, even the Bulldogs and Ports midfields be better than ours, if we added Michell?

I don't think Martin is on big money, only year on big money was the first year aside from that he was on $500k a year.

I'd say perhaps Williams or Saad is a fair guess considering we brought them in on big money only a year ago. Or Harry, considering he only just signed a new deal a few months ago. Taking a pay cut only 6 months later would be a bit odd.

Jake Niall reported earlier this week that Cerra’s contract wasn’t anywhere near the $750,000pa that was being bandied about, and that it was closer to $650,000 - he didn’t mention anything about paycuts to other players - if Tim Watson is spouting this I dare say it’s his usual “Carlton baiting”.
