Can anyone from Melbourne actually relate to any of this?

- When diarising anything in September you first consult the footy fixture.

Whats that meant to mean?

Exactly...the article was written by a woman who probably can't spell "sport" and doesn't realise that the footy fixture actually doesn't tell us which teams will be playing where and when in September ! March to August yes but September, that's a big no right there !

"- You refer to rococo furniture as "very Franco Cozzo"."

Does that guy still have ads on the TV? I still remember his ads from 15+ years ago. "Come to Footscray, Franco Cozzo." in an Italian (i think) accent. :D

Most of it was not about 'you know you are from Melbourne if...', it read like 'you know you are an upper class latte sipping snob if...'

But I completely relate to the Melway comment

I can't stand Catherine Deveny and that list was lame. I put her in the same category as Mia 'every little bit of my life is just soooo exciting' Freedman, Robyn 'no one anywhere is allowed any fun' Riley and Cheryl 'all my stories are about the Richmond cheersquad' Critchley.

Reminds me of my Dad's very lame joke he told me about 1000 times...

What did Franco Cozzo say when he accidently stepped into a bucket full of grey paint while walking through brunswick?

- I'm in Brunswick and foot is grey....

For your old man :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

"Cum Friday, Franko Cotzo, A Norpha Melbbum an a Foot is Ghey."

And maybe thats the issue, you need to go somewhere else to find out there is a big bad world out there and Melbourne isn't the be and end of the world.
I've lived overseas tbh.

And I don't know any "kids with two mummys"
