Not sure if Leppa has been tanking or not (chipping around against Melbourne?) but we should be tanking now. Get the number one pick and blood the youth to see what we have here.

Keep Beams and Hanley out and make the following changes:

OUT
Adcock (unfortunately I think he is done)
Staker (ditto)
Rich (doesn't look quite right, possibly carrying an injury)
Bewick (we know what he offers)

IN
Josh Clayton
Josh Watts
Tom Cutler
Jonathan Freeman

Yeah, we should completely humiliate the whole playing group and entirely sap their confidence while further disillusioning the supporter base.
We should be fine going into 2016 with a disheartened team and further reduced membership.

Pretty sure we are going to go in with a reduced membership regardless. Even if we go into 2016 with the wooden spoon , l doubt they will go into the season with their confidence sapped. New season and they will be excited to get start playing again.

Really th0, there is no point in Beams and hanley staying in the team at this stage. Beams needs surgery and Hanley just needs to rest and ice his hammy.

Hanley in O'brien in Cutler in
Beasley Out Robertson out dawson/staker out

would like to see freeman or hammelman get a gig soon

One positive is that we aren't giving false hope in the back half of a season. The last two or three years we have gone into the off season with optimism. At least this year we suck so much that any tiny bit of progress next year will be welcomed.
I agree. Having six months of off-season hype only to be completely flat six weeks into the following season, year after year, is killing me.

Looks like Aish may have played his last game for us.

Cian Hanley (Knee) - Season
Jackson Paine (Ankle) - Season
Michael Close (Knee) - Season
Jaden McGrath (Foot) - 4-6 weeks
Claye Beams (Knee) - Season
Josh Green (Foot) - 4 weeks
Ryan Lester (Knee) - Season
Darcy Gardiner (Shoulder) - Season
Pearce Hanley (Back) - Test
Jordon Bourke (Knee) - Season
Josh McGuinness (Foot) - Season
James Aish (Finger) - Season
Dayne Beams (Shoulder) - Test

And you just know he will kill it no matter where he goes

With their current timeframes, really don't see the point of McGrath and Green pushing to come back this year either

Hope its his signing hand. How is he meant to sign with carlton then. Should of signed with us earlier.

Mcgrath is the biggest loss for mine. Really liked how he forced his way into what was shaping up to be a promising side. Rest him for the rest of the year and get another preseason under his belt.

I agree given their type of injury and the reserves season ending earlier than the seniors would rule McGrath out but if Green can get back for the last 3-4 games it might be worthwhile.

If Rich is injured just rest him, D Beams been great let him have his op.
The Season is over for us.. rather finish last and blood the young kids we have not blooded.
I do not want to loose a great player for 6-9 months as they are still playing.
Its not tanking for draft picks are we normally hand our first pick to another club in two years time :)

Feels like McGrath has been listed as 4-6 weeks for almost 4-6 weeks now.
Reminder of the good-old "1-2 week quad" that would last all season from some years back...

Just a few years ago we got within a kick of beating Geelong down there.

Now I'm expecting a 100+ belting, how low we have gone.

I don't think Geelong are going that well. If we have our midfield playing I'm hoping for a 30 point loss. If Beams and Hanley are missing it'll probably blow out to a 10 goal loss.

Hopefully we can keep Hawkins to 4 goals or less.
