I'll admit I had a good laugh when I first heard about this. Put it all together and it would have to be the craziest fall from grace/football associated pratfall ever.

Tunnel is s very complex person & the cross dressing is not a surprise to those closest to him. There were issues way back in the late 80’s & he has been battling various demons since then.
This has to be seen as a positive & it brings his issues to a head & will hopefully allow him to get the help he desperately needs. As embarrassing as this is, it is a far better option than the result that was going to occur on his current path.

Fair enough, my original point was careful feeling too bad and giving too much sympathy to Laidley when it looks highly likely he's been doing some horrible things to people. In a perfect world we would all wait until the charges are officially proven before calling anyone a "victim", but in my mind the chance he is completely innocent of everything is zero, and it's just a formality to wait until he's sentenced... Thus I don't have any sympathy for Laidley and the position he has put himself in.

One of the interesting things about trans women is that (probably due to their male socialisation) they offend at the same rate as males, not women. So things like stalking and domestic violence crimes are committed by them in a way more consistent with men than women. But once they identify as female, their crimes are noted as being committed by females in crime statistics. I have a friend, a woman who is a feminist, in this position - and the idea that it wasn't recognised as male violence rubbed salt into the wound for her.

Just goes to show how utterly ridiculous 'transgenderism' is.
