He hasn't had 9 years on an AFL list. After he was delisted by the Swans, he played a few years in the SANFL .IIRC.
But your sediment still stands in regards to his persistence.

Just one year in the SNAFL for Currie. De-listed at the end of 2011 then re-drafted at the end of 2012.

So just 8 years actually on a list. He'll end up being a 10+ year player, I hope he becomes a 10+ game player also.
