Does anyone know a pufferfish who has bought a Renault?

After 2-3 years of sponsorship I am curious as to what benefits the Renault motor company gets out of their deal with the pufferfish. Your traditional pufferfish considers their vehicle of choice to be a thumping V8 powered Commodore or Falcon. So why would a French marque bother to sponsor the 119's when the obvious outcome will be very limited sales to the market they are pitching at?
