Strategy FACT: We win more games in our clash guernsey

This is a fact that I haven't researched, but we win more games in our clash guernsey.

When we wear our traditional black guernsey with yellow sash, we appear smaller. Black is slimming. Space on the football field appears larger. The opposition think we're not there. Combine this with a blend into a crowd as a backdrop and the impact is significant.

When we wear yellow with black sash, our players appear faster and bigger. They're easier to see from the perspective of a team, and the opposition appear as though they have less space.

Geelong historically perform well because hoops make their players appear wider, thus covering more space, thus making targets harder for the opposition to hit. But, it's also easier for the Geelong players to find a target.

It's literally colour theory.

If we had exactly the same players playing in black + yellow sash, playing a team in yellow + black sash, the predominently yellow team would win.
