Knights Kicket Out!
The FFA today made an historic announcement with the New Zealand Knights Football Club being Kicked out of the Hyundai A-League for the 2006/07 season and beyond. The Knights only managed one win in their first and only season in the A-League and finished an embarising 20 points behind second-bottom placed Melbourne Victory. In addition, the Knights only averaged 3,909 people to their home matches making the club not financially viable. The FFA is expected to announce a replacement club in the next few days.
