It's my propensity to lie on my side on the couch that has weakened my back. I need a couch long enough to take me.

The armchair with a throw pillow in the small of my back saves me from back pain.

We have no room for an armchair. Just a couch. Hence, I think, my dare I say, armchair enthusiasm for armchairs.
