An accused drug-driver allegedly told a police officer “amazing, absolutely amazing” as she lay dying after a truck ploughed into her and three colleagues on a Melbourne freeway.
Fitzroy man Richard Pusey, 41, appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday, facing 10 charges, including speeding, reckless conduct and drug possession.
Leading Senior Constable Lynette Taylor, Senior Constable Kevin King and Constables Glen Humphris and Josh Prestney lost their lives on Wednesday evening on the Eastern Freeway in Kew.
The court heard Pusey had filmed Taylor as she called out for help, with police alleging he said “all he wanted to do was go home”.
“Amazing. Absolutely amazing. All I wanted to do was go home and eat my sushi and now you have f***ed my f***ing car,” police alleged Pusey said to Taylor.

With the charges against him how likely would be he goes to a high security prison or prison at all? Would it be more likely they stick him in the remand centre on Spencer St?
Well unfortunately thats not the case but anyway have a look at the idiots who were using their phone to film Hassan Ali in Bourke st to get the idea of what happens now days. This guy wasnt a nice guy, didnt probably like police and has an unusual affinity to his Porsche, and from what it can be assumed was high, if he is smart apologise etc and as I said may not be held accountable for all the additional charges.
If his expensive lawyer does think he will do time he always has the option of not asking for bail and doing it in the remand centre

There were witnesses there and it sounds like he may have shared that video.
It’s staggering because from all accounts I’ve heard from close mates well in the know is that witnesses are struggling to come to terms with what they saw with the truck which is why it’s being treated so sus, and this knob Pusey could have just helped, stayed and not been a ****wit and all attention would be on the truck driver yet he’s somehow in an incident where a truck driver is under investigation And 4 police died, none at the hands of Pusey has managed to make himself absolutely despised and has hundreds of police wanting to do him in. That takes some ****ing doing when he wasn’t the driver of the truck that takes a real special type of campaigner that does.
