Free AVG Anti Virus 6.0

Can anyone tell me if this is worth downloading ? Or is it a waste of memory downloading it ?

downloaded for my brothers computer when i rebuilt it, so far he's had no problems....

personally id go for a product that is better recognised, ie: norton, trend etc
