When Harris is passed fit to play, just wondering if it would be the perfect time to give him a run up forward.
A few posters have wanted to see how he'd go but it sort of fell into the rob Peter to pay Paul scenario.
I would have been against it pre-injury but now it might be a chance for him to gain confidence, he wouldn't have to sit in "the hole" potentially getting contact from behind or fly back into oncoming traffic. Walker has been good Since his return and doesn't deserve to lose his spot so that would play in well with this idea too. I wouldn't want this a permanent move by any means but it would give us a look at a future left field swing man option. Probably would require giving oscar a rest though
Why would you ever want to take a borderline AA player and "try" him in a different position? When Harris is passed fit to play, just wondering if it would be the perfect time to give him a run up forward.
It says it in the rest of his post ...Why would you ever want to take a borderline AA player and "try" him in a different position?
Harris has been medically cleared to start contact training and is available for selection from next week:
Don't upset me please...So he's likely to get back just before Cameron

Cameron got suspended for knocking Andrews unconscious.
He will play in an AFL football match again before Cameron gets off his suspension.
Just wondering are you a member of the clique you know the oldies one.Oh, yeah. My mind went to Charlie Cameron for some reason. I thought I must have missed a story about him coming back earlier!
Great story jj, the culture/reputation/persona of our club is turning, and the turn around post Leppa has been astounding in its pace. When we win a flag or 3 over the next 10 years Chris Fagan, David Noble and the welfare and recruitment team will be the stuff of Lions legend. As most of you are already aware this is one impressive young man. This morning he was down at Coorparoo doing training. He is our 8yr olds favourite player and was at the GWS game and told him this morning that Harris might be training. Our boys play at Coorparoo and as we were walking over Harris was on the boundary near us. Harris introduced himself to our boy and was more than happy for a photo. On the way home I said we should print it and see if we can get him to sign it one day. 8yr old said that he loved him, I think I might have a bit of man love for him as well.
